Excellent post Jordan, and kudos to you for putting exercise first. 30–60 mins of sweating exercise a day is certainly the most powerful protector of the brain and the neuroimmune system. For the 20% of folks with one copy of the ApoE4 gene, it is lifesaving, the single greatest delayer of Alzheimers.

For Curcumin, you might also recommend micellar curcumin, from NovaSol in Germany and sold in the US by Solgar as “full spectrum curcumin”. It is significantly more bioavilable than Longvida curcumin (which itself is much better than ordinary curcumin). In my survey of the literature, and in talking with the researchers themselves, folks with the ApoE4 gene will usually need to take 6 of the solgar curcumins per day, to get to protective fasting curcumin levels of ~50 nmol/L. You’d need to take more than twice that many capsules with Longvida, so that just won’t happen.
