Hi Max. Thanks for the feedback! I think I got lazy in writing that part. I went back and tried to make it clearer. Yes, I think our agents will mainly speak to us via audio AR when we are mobile and interacting with others (with small bits of visual AR that we pay partial attention to, but not a lot, or we’ll be overwhelmed and distracted). When we’re sitting with others doing the the same, or on our own, we’ll of course use visual AR a lot more heavily. But even then I expect 2D will be preferred over 3D most of the time, as we usually don’t get enough value from the extra mental effort to process 3D.
I will take a look at the Viv article, thanks. They’re doing very ambitious work.
